Absolutely! First of all, English has a simple 26 letter alphabet compared to other languages, such as Japanese, which has 2 alphabet systems (hiragana & katakana) and 3 writing systems.

You better believe it! There are increasing professional opportunities available if you are bilingual. It's something that more and more companies around the world are looking for in their employees. Guess who gets those international job positions and those salary raises? Yup, you guessed it - the bilingual people. English is THE platform for international business.

It sounds like you really enjoy social media, networking and relationships. Did you know that the main language of social interaction is English! I have met so many international couples who have met each other through English. I've seen an American guy meet a Japanese girl using English. I've seen a Turkish girl meet a Brazilian guy using English. In my eyes, English has been the common language for love and happiness; and sometimes also divorce...but we won't talk about that here!

One thing is for sure - those events are unique, exciting and will pump your body full of adrenaline. By learning English, you will also learn about other cultures and become immersed in local communities. Few experiences will make you grow more as a person than discovering how the locals do things.
